NADA.Wouldn’t you think that they’d have offered us a complimentary meal if we’d come back another time?Or a coupon of some sort as a consolation?Or perhaps offer us a free drink for the extreme inconvenience of having driven 10 miles to the place each way only to find that they’re closed when they represent that they’re open?Clearly staff are poorly trained in handling such matters of customer service.That would never happen at Wegmans, for example.News flash to TaiChi: you stop serving when you CLOSE.In reality, you close & start mopping up at 10:30 & are only open to gouge people on beverages during the last half hour of your open operating hours.The last half hour of business hours isn’t for you to clean up & not serve customers.As long as that OPEN sign is lit & your hours in Google are shown as being open until 11 -then you should be open until 11.You need to fix this if you don’t want to sell food during your last half hour then CLOSE ALTOGETHER at 10:30. Impossible to rate their food when they misrepresent their hours & you can’t buy the food despite their being OPEN!They represent that they close on Friday nights at 11pm I thought that was great & was craving Sushi, so drove over.We arrive only to be told: “we stop serving Sushi at 10:30, half hour before closing.”Dumb.Either you’re open or you’re closed it’s simple.In other words, you close at 10:30 if you want food.The reason for the one star is because after having been made aware that we came to eat & having turned us away because they misrepresented their closing time as 11 (when it is 10:30), THEY OFFERED US NOTHING AS A COURTESY. 🙌🏼Major s/o to Grubhub & Postmates etc. Warm up your truck a bit & de-ice your windshield, while SHOVELING your driveway a bit so you can take (at least me) the 7-8 min trip to Taichi to pick up food.
When the thought of what you have to do, to pick up an order of food, can almost kill your appetite.Having to layer on clothes, bundle up in your coat. So so so good.It seems like, no matter what day or mood, I’m ALWAYS down for Taichi!Bonus that they’re on Grubhub too! That’s CLUTCH for those frigid, cloudy, gloomy, icy “Oh How Beautiful Is Rochester” 😑 days.
IM HOOKED! I’m a HUGE fan of ramen! They make it SO good! I also get a Passion Fruit & Papaya Smoothie with Tapioca bubbles. Well, of course, she picked Taichi! So, my daughter “took” me there & now. Sometimes she’ll get the Tapioca ones or she also loves the unique fruity ones that POP in your mouth!So, I was running errands with my daughter & once I was getting to my last stop, I asked what she wanted to grab to eat before we headed back home.
But my Baby girl was HOOKED too! She loves the salads, ramen & always gets a pineapple & mango smoothie with bubbles. Kids can typically be very picky eaters & for sure, not very many will venture into foods that “look different” especially. Then my Mom took my 9 y.o daughter one day, when she was getting her “fix” haha. Then my Mom was hooked, especially on the very unique salads & Avocado Milk Bubble Tea.
